Radon Abatement System Installation

There isn’t a radon problem we can’t solve.

Radon Mitigation

Radon Mitigation

Radon Abatement Systems is a hybrid construction company, focused on radon mitigation. Our focus is on radon mitigation which makes us specialists and experts in the industry.

Fan Installation

Based on EPA protocol which we adhere to, the fan must be located in a non-living area of the home.

  • Outside System: piping runs from the lowest level of the home, out the exterior wall. The fan is installed on the outside of the home with the exhaust pipe extending up to the roof level.
  • Internal System: piping runs from the lowest level of the home, into the garage attic. The fan is installed in the garage attic to exhaust out the garage roof.
  • Passive Vent: existing piping installed by the builder is used to complete the system with the fan in the main attic of the house and it exhausts out the attic roof.

Fan Replacement

Radon system fans need replacing about every 10-20 years. We can quickly and efficiently replace your fan so you never have to think about it.

Servicing of All Radon Systems

Radon Systems

We provide servicing for all radon systems.

Typically a radon system fan motor runs for 10-20 years before it needs to be replaced but when it does give us a call and we will be happy to help you out.

We can troubleshoot your existing radon system and recommend additional mitigation to further lower your levels if you are not satisfied with them.

Sump Pump Replacements

Sump Pump Replacements

We can replace your submersible sump pump for a fraction of the cost of calling a plumber to do the job.

Radon Mitigation is what we do. In fact, it’s the only thing we do.

Radon Mitigation systems come in 3 kinds.

We can help you with all of them.

Outside System

For this radon mitigation system, the piping runs from the lowest level, out the exterior wall of the home. The fan is located on the exterior of the home and an exhaust pipe runs from the fan up to the roof-level. For the exhaust pipe, we use a downspout system that integrates with the aesthetics of your home’s exterior.

Internal System

For this radon mitigation system the pipe runs from the lowest level of the house up into the garage attic. The fan is located in the garage attic and vents out the rear of the garage roof.

Passive Vent

This system uses the existing pipe framework that the builder has installed. (example: a system that extends from the sump pump through the attic to the roof.)
